One thing is clear, this generation of buyer has little appetite for fixing up homes. Homes that are updated, on trend and well-staged at the right price are still flying off the shelf. Properties with older kitchens, baths, wallpaper, heavy drapes, furniture and carpet are more challenging to sell. HGTV and Pinterest has influenced today’s buyers.”
